Grade Trends does not require an account and does not collect your name, email or address.

• Your approximate location. To show schools near you, your browser asks ipinfo.io (or ipapi.co as a fallback) for the city of your IP address. The result is kept in your browser for 6 hours and is sent to this site only as coordinates to look up nearby schools; it is not stored.
• Browser storage. The schools you pick for comparison are saved in your browser's local storage so the list survives page loads. Clear your browser data to remove it.
• School data requests. Your browser loads year-by-year demographics directly from nces.ed.gov.
• Analytics. If enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymous usage statistics.
